Predication du Feu Pasteur Albert Lukusa, 30 Juin, 2004

« Il ya aussi de péchés politique…l’église ne fait pas de politique lorsque elle parle politique. L’église, sel de la terre et lumière du monde doit orienter toute chose » Pasteur Albert Lukusa. « En tant que lumière et sel nous devons affecter et influencer ».

Pastor Lukusa was my Senior Pastor of the Cité Evangélique Viens & Vois Church. He then moved to become founder and pastor of Nouvelle Cité de David Church. He was arrested at one point by late Laurent Desiree Kabila (the Father) when I was still in the Congo. Kabila the sr. arrested Lukusa for a preaching pastor Lukusa gave at Viens & Vois, unfortunately I was too young to articulate what pastor Lukusa shared in the church that evening, but it was something to do with the government…I remember having gone to evening prayers which were solely organized to pray for Pastor Lukusa who was jailed by the government for the message he shared...As we were praying, I just sensed some change of John Lukusa who was then convening the prayers…I sat in a seat where it was hard for me to notice that pasteur Lukusa was walking into the church…Interesting part, Pasteur Lukusa was walking as we were singing the hymn “Victoire Victoire en Jesus”…

However, the preaching in this video had hit “too much” on the nail…I have listened to this preaching time and again, and I continue to educate myself about where exactly Pasteur Lukusa was wrong…wrong that he had to be eliminated…Maybe saying so directly that “George Bush est un mechant” was something which should have been said in other words, but it was right to say “George Bush est un homme. George Bush ne pas Dieu…”

At a time where both politicians and religious leaders were with the September 11 attacks emotions not criticizing Bush about his Iraq attacks…Pasteur Lukusa had the gut to say

« Même si les arabes sont mauvais, George Bush n’as aucun droit d’aller détruire et les enfants, et les femmes…tout ces gens qui sont mort…Vous pensez ce ca que Dieu vœux… »

The so many things to talk about the life and death of Pasteur Lukusa, but how about I just let you watch the video…The video is unfortunately in French and whenever I find time I'll put English subtitles, but that won't happen anytime soon...
